Hackers may hack your blog at any time so it is really important to have a spare blog and protect yourself from giving up blogging. In this tutorial, The video below will show you how to get a XML backup data of your existing blog and clone it in another blog. The points that you’ve got to note is:

  • You can backup your Posts, Comments and Pages or either of these.
  • The plugins and themes you installed in the existing blog will not be included in the XML file because of its small size, However you can download the theme and plugin separately from your existing blog while you’re undergoing this process.
  • This will even work with Blogger, WordPress.com, Typepad and other common blogging CMS. Unfortunately tumblr is not included.

  1. Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your design. Kudos
